Two years ago, we made a life-changing decision to leave our comfortable lives in the Netherlands and move to the enchanting island of Ibiza. Back in the Netherlands, we had it all—successful careers, a beautiful home, and a sense of stability. Yet, we couldn’t shake off the dream of living on the beautiful island of Ibiza, known for its stunning nature, fantastic beaches, and vibrant culture. Little did we know that this dream would lead us to start our unique campervan rental business on Ibiza, offering an affordable, luxurious, and authentic experience to fellow adventure seekers.

A New Beginning on the Island
The decision to move to Ibiza wasn’t made lightly. We had built a life in the Netherlands that many would envy. Carli was thriving as a health coach, and Nick owned a flourishing furniture company. Despite our successes, we longed for something more—a deeper connection to nature, a slower pace of life, and the freedom to explore new horizons with our two children. So, we took the leap, packed our belongings, and set out to make our dream a reality.
Upon arriving in Ibiza, we found ourselves with a van that had made the journey with us. Initially, we converted this van into a cozy camper for personal use, a little “Ibiza house on wheels” equipped with all the amenities for a comfortable and luxurious stay. It became our weekend escape and a charming place to host visiting friends. The camper quickly garnered attention for its uniqueness and the luxurious yet authentic experience it offered. This sparked an idea—why not share this experience with others?

The Birth of Our Campervan Rental Concept
With the overwhelming positive feedback from friends and family, we realized there was a demand for a unique and intimate way to explore Ibiza. And thus, our campervan rental business was born. Our intention was simple: to provide an affordable yet luxurious way for people to experience the true essence of Ibiza. We wanted our customers to immerse themselves in the island’s beauty, from its hidden beaches to local restaurants offering delicious meals at reasonable prices.
Our campervans are more than just vehicles; they are mobile sanctuaries designed to offer the comforts of a home while allowing for the freedom to explore. Each campervan is meticulously crafted to provide a luxurious experience, featuring cozy sleeping areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and even a stylish bathroom. We believe that a stay in one of our campervans offers a unique way to experience Ibiza, combining adventure with the comfort and elegance of a boutique hotel.
Living the Dream
Moving to Ibiza has been an incredible journey of growth and discovery. Our children attend an international school where they are exposed to diverse cultures and languages, enriching their education and social experiences. Carli continues her work as a health coach online, helping clients achieve their wellness goals from our idyllic island home. Nick’s furniture business is currently on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but this has given us more time to focus on our campervan venture and enjoy our family life.
We have embraced the island’s laid-back lifestyle, forming new friendships and learning to go with the flow. Our initial plans have evolved countless times, but we’ve learned to adapt and make the best of every situation. The song “Starting Over” by Chris Stapleton has become our anthem, reminding us that the unknown road ahead is filled with endless possibilities and that the journey itself is worth every challenge
